Snow Volleyball

Snow volleyball is a variant of volleyball played on a rectangular snow court instead of an indoor hardwood court or outdoor sand court. Per FIVB Snow Volleyball rules, each team fields 3 players (not 6 as indoors or 2 as in beach volleyball), and matches are best-of-3 sets, each played to 15 points with a minimum 2-point lead (no cap), including the deciding set. There is no libero in snow volleyball. Players hold static rotational positions rather than the six indoor court zones, teams are allowed 1 timeout per set and up to 2 substitutions per set, and rosters are capped at 4 players. Teams change ends every 5 points, in every set including the decider. Snow volleyball is contested at events such as the FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour and is one of the ruleset presets available in VolleyRef.App alongside FIVB, USAV, NFHS, NCAA, and Beach.
