Every Beach Rule. Enforced.
Pick the Beach ruleset at setup. Sets, side switches, timeouts, and roster limits all change to match. No settings to remember.
Best of 3. The first two sets run to 21, the third to 15, both won by a minimum 2-point lead with no cap. The app knows which set you are in and never ends one early.
Teams switch on the combined total: every 7 points in sets 1 and 2, every 5 in the decider. The app tracks the running total and prompts the switch. You keep your eyes on the court.
Beach rosters are exactly two players and there are no substitutions. The app hides the substitution controls entirely on the Beach ruleset rather than letting you record a sub that does not exist in the rulebook.
There is no libero on the sand, and no six-zone rotation to police. Players hold static positions and alternate service order. The libero and rotation surfaces disappear so the screen shows only what a beach referee needs.
Each team gets 1 timeout per set, 30 seconds long, against 2 per set indoors. Try to record a second and the app stops you. Intervals between sets run 1 minute.
Beach Is Not Indoor.
Different point targets. Different side switches. No subs, no libero, no rotation. Running a beach match on an indoor scoring app means overriding half the settings and remembering the rest yourself. Select Beach in VolleyRef.App and every one of those differences is already handled.
Built for Sand, Sun, and One Phone.
Tournament desk on a beach, no power, patchy signal. The app works fully offline and syncs when it can. Score from a phone in one hand while the crowd follows the live scoreboard on theirs.
Goes Way Beyond Beach Rules.
Snow Volleyball Scoring
Same app, 3 versus 3 on snow. Sets to 15, ends changed every 5 points, 2 subs per set. Pick Snow and it all switches over.
Live Scoreboard
Share a link and every phone at the court follows the match live. No app install for spectators.
