Rotation

Rotation is the clockwise movement of all six players one position when a team wins back the serve (sideout). Per FIVB Rule 7.6.1, teams must rotate in the order recorded on the scoresheet at the start of each set. The player rotating from position 2 to position 1 becomes the next server. Failure to rotate correctly results in a rotation fault.
