When does a team rotate in volleyball?

Per FIVB Rule 7.6.1, a team must rotate immediately after winning the right to serve from the opponent. Rotation is clockwise: the player in position 2 moves to position 1 and serves next. Rotation only happens on a sideout -- if the serving team wins the rally, no rotation occurs and the same player serves again. Before the serve, all six players must be in their correct rotational positions (FIVB Rule 7.5); they are free to move anywhere once the serve is contacted.
