Per FIVB Rule 6.1.2.2, if two or more faults are committed by opponents simultaneously, a double fault is called and the rally is replayed. Neither team is awarded a point, and the rally is replayed with the same serving team and server. Double faults are rare but can happen, for example when opposing players commit net faults at the same moment. NFHS and NCAA rules similarly result in a replay on simultaneous faults.
