Screening

Screening is an illegal action in which one or more players on the serving team visually obstruct the opponents' view of the server or the ball's flight path at the moment of serve. Per FIVB Rule 12.5.1, it is a fault for players to jump, wave their arms, or move together in a line to screen the receiver. Individual players standing legally in their rotational position are not considered screening. A screening fault results in a point and serve for the opponent.
