Per FIVB Snow Volleyball rules, a match is won by the first team to take 2 sets. Unlike indoor volleyball, where the first four sets go to 25 and only the deciding set is played to 15, every set in snow volleyball, including the decider, is played to 15 points with a minimum 2-point lead and no cap. Teams change ends every 5 points in every set, including the deciding set, to offset shifting wind, sun, and snow conditions.
